CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF BRIGHTER TOMORROWS

In honor of our 25th anniversary, Catholic Charities of Central Texas is hosting our first-ever Block Party on September 14 at the CCCTX Austin campus. Our event features live music, food trucks, volunteer opportunities, campus tours, plus a blessing by Bishop Joe S. Vásquez. Our Block Party is designed to be fun and meaningful for the whole family.

Special prizes will be given to our first 50 guests!

EVENT DETAILS & FAQs

Please join Catholic Charities of Central Texas at our special 25th Anniversary celebration! Our Block Party will be held on our Austin campus at 1625 Rutherford Lane. This event is free, and you can come and go as you please!

  • 5:30 – 6:00 pm: St. Michael’s Catholic Academy student band performance.
  • 6:00 – 6:30 pm: Blessing and remarks from Bishop Joe Vásquez and CCCTX Executive Director, Sara Ramirez.
  • 6:30 – 8:00 pm: Live music from Ray Kusnier of the Pure Goodness Music Collective at Community First! Village, food trucks, volunteer station, and campus tours.

Free food and beverages will be available to all our guests. P. Terry’s and Kona Ice trucks will be on site!

Parking is plentiful! You may park in our main CCCTX parking lot. Street parking is also available on Headway Circle.

Yes–you can have fun and make a difference at the same time! Join us at our volunteer station to assemble back-to-school kits for refugee children starting their first school year in Central Texas.

Our Block Party is designed to be fun and safe for the whole family! All entertainment will be family-friendly, and security will be present to ensure the safety of all our guests.

Since our agency was founded in 1999, we are giving away special 90s-themed prizes to our first 50 guests. You won’t want to miss them!
